Ms Sen has been in the field of education for almost three decades as a teacher, trainer, counsellor, principal and director. Presently she is heading the John Martyn Memorial School in Salangoan. She had her early education in La Martinere Girls School, Lucknow, and College from Isabella Thoburn College, Lucknow and post-graduation from Lucknow University.  Her passion for children led her to visit schools in other States and countries and understand the values taught there.  

A visionary leader whose aim and purpose have been to create the right climate for a child to develop the capacity to explore,  who is good at assessing situations, coming to logical conclusions and eventually finding his own solutions. 

She believes a child is like a river which is not always the same. At times, it provides water for drinking, for irrigation, and as a waterway for boats. Just as a river will not always be a river a child will not always be a child. He will display his multiple intelligences and if these are tapped over a period of time he will emerge as the kind of human being who will be the shining son or daughter of the family and the shining star of his country.
